Over the course of three decades, Waters' restaurant, Chez Panisse, has developed a network of local farmers and ranchers with a dedication to sustainable agriculture. Waters' commitment to education led to the creation of kitchen classrooms and the Chez Panisse Foundation, that uses food traditions to teach, nurture, and empower young people.
